Hey there, My name is Blake. Some of you might know me.
I'm looking for a full time 3D Artist position. I have worked in the gaming industry for over a year, creating 3D art for iPhone games and have released three game titles two of which I was Lead Artist on.
My strongest area is environment modeling and texturing. My last position was as Lead Artist at Rush Digital Interactive, where I created all the 3D assets for our mobile games
These games can be found on iTunes App store

Although a full time position would be ideal I would be happy to take on contract or freelance work too. I can work from home but I do prefer to work on-site.
My portfolio can be found at http://blakedwan.weebly.com/
I'm best reachable by email - blakedwan@gmail.com

I'm currently doing some online work with an indie studio. But I am still very keen to hear from any studios in NZ looking for an experienced 3D Artist.
Cheers
Thought I would let you all know I have updated my website

Here are some of the new images...
the scene was made using Unity

Wow looks like it's coming along there! I can hear old dwarven campfire songs rolling around the walls...
haha thanks man
Something new... Based of Diablo concept art
Modeled in Maya. The screen shot is taken from Maya. Used some Zbrush for the trees normal map and Crazy Bump for the rest of the normal maps. There are 4 texture maps all 1024 each. Could probably atlas them into one 2048. There is also one 2048 Lightmap.

Still looking for work by the way.....

Do you have any experience using UE3?
Hi James
I had some experience with UE3 a few years ago, but haven't really touched it since. Most of my work has been done in Unity and in Rush Digital's IgnitionWare
Right, that's a shame. If you had more UE3 experience ...
yah, I always think I should start using UE3. I tend to fall back on Unity becuase it's so simple to use.
